Japan is known for its advanced technology. One thing that they've really improved upon is the toilet! The toilets here have lots of buttons. There are seat warmers, a music or white noise button to cover any embarassing sounds as the Japanese people are fairly modest, there is a bidet or small water fawcett that washes you, and then there is a dryer, as well! One of the first phrases I learned was, "Toide wa do-ka des ka? or where is the bathroom!
Our guide told us that the Japanese are currently improving toilets by making them self cleaning, and that Tokyo is actually the toilet production capital of the world.
